Adams Homes Announces 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Quarter Founders Club Winners for 2022

Each quarter, we recognize our outstanding team members for their dedication to our mission and values. Nominations for the Founders Club recognize individual team members’ passion for customer service and quality. We are proud to announce the following!

Sales Associate of the 2nd Quarter: Angela Peoples, Destin

Angela started working in the Destin office as an Administrative Assistant. Although she was great at her job, she knew deep down her real passion was selling new homes. As soon as we opened up in Bay County, she had her eyes on moving into sales. For the past 3 years, Angela has cultivated a large group of contacts that she keeps well informed about what she has on the market.

Superintendent of the 2nd Quarter: Brady Hamer, Birmingham

Brady has developed a pretty good ability to adapt and overcome just about any situation that comes his way. Brady presents a home to a purchaser with showmanship, pride, and confidence. Brady likes to speak up and help other supers every chance he can and likes teaching what he knows. Brady is passionate about what he does here at Adams Homes. Brady is our top super here in Birmingham, very ambitious, and hopes to continue to grow in the company!

Sales Manager of the 2nd Quarter: Elizabeth Poole, Baldwin County

Elizabeth started her sales career with Adams 12 years ago this December. Her supervisor says, "Elizabeth does a very good job of setting expectations with our sales team and working with them to achieve goals. She is consistent with holding team members accountable for their performance and related activities." Congrats Elizabeth, well deserved! 

Production Manager of the 2nd Quarter: Carmon Harwood, Memphis

Carmon is a huge asset to our team. She is very organized and quick to correct anyone making a mistake. She has a great understanding of all houses under construction and has also found areas to speed up our production. She is an extremely hard worker that is helping us move in the correct direction. She is always looking to be sure we are stepping forward and not back.  "We are blessed to have her in the office on our team," her manager says. 

Division Admin Team Member of the 2nd Quarter: Kelsie Smith, Daytona

Kelsie has been helping in all areas as needed. Mainly stepping in and taking the responsibility of warranty coordinator while we are in the hiring process of another. "She has solved a lot of the outstanding items and has helped re-establish some needed customer service with our homeowners," her supervisor stated. She has decreased the permitting time by weeks and helps with many office tasks while continuing to handle the warranty department! 

Corporate Admin Team Member of the 2nd Quarter: Cathy Jones, HQ

Cathy has been with Adams Homes for almost 4 years. Within 7 months, she showed the ability and desire to lead a team – in less than 1 year, she became a team leader! Her team has nothing but great things to say about her positive attitude, her ability to motivate, and her willingness to listen and understand. She leads by example, working hard while she is here and never complaining. She is patient and doesn’t hesitate to jump in to help when needed. We hope Cathy feels as valued and appreciated as she makes her team feel! 

Sales Associate of the 3rd Quarter: Debra Holifield, Crestview

Debra has been with Adams Homes for 5 years and has always brought a positive attitude and extremely good work ethic to her job every day. Her customers love her and she has consistently performed extremely well, no matter what neighborhood she is selling in. She has excellent communication skills with her customers, even those customers that might be a bit angry at the current situation with build times and material shortages. In addition to this, her attitude is always positive no matter what circumstances she finds herself in. She develops plans for her subdivisions and works her plan to hit her goals.

Superintendent of the 3rd Quarter: Angela Cotton, South Raleigh 

Angela has made tremendous strides in a remarkably short period since joining Adams Homes in 2021. Her level of commitment is evident in how she consistently surpasses expectations and her ability to expertly manage the scheduling of trades. Angela is highly organized and meticulous, consistently exhibiting a keen eye for detail. It is clear that she has made significant progress and has become an invaluable asset to the company!

Sales Manager of the 3rd Quarter: Andrea De La Cerna, Pensacola

Andrea works super hard to help ensure that the Pensacola office continues to sell and market homes. She has sales meetings and training each week to help ensure that our agents are on top of their game. Her manager commented, " I challenge both Andrea and our sales team to not only meet but exceed their sales goals, and Andrea consistently rises to the challenge. Andrea has a very bright future with Adams Homes, and looking at our past performance I would stand by my recommendation for Sales Manager of the Quarter!"

Production Manager of the 3rd Quarter: Keith Ferguson, North Atlanta

Since beginning his career at Adams Homes as a superintendent, Keith has proven to be a true asset to the company, earning him a swift ascent to the position of production manager for the North Atlanta division. His unwavering commitment to excellence is evident in his tireless efforts to continually enhance and streamline our operations. Keith is an exceptional team player, skillfully motivating and engaging the office to ensure that everyone is working cohesively toward our shared goals. "Keith is constantly striving to improve our division. He is a good team person and keeps the office engaged. Keith is learning every day and continues to get better! 

Division Admin Team Member of the 3rd Quarter: Christy Helton, Crestview

Christy takes her role very seriously and has always gone the extra mile with her job duties. She’s diligent in seeing that the customers are communicated with throughout the build of their homes. She is constantly pushing her lenders, closing attorneys, and superintendents to make the walk-throughs and the closings as smooth as possible. Congrats Christy! 

Corporate Admin Team Member of the 3rd Quarter: Zac Gilmore, HQ 

Zac has been with the Adams Homes Administrative team for over 3 years now. He’s eager to get things done and committed to the success of the company which makes him an important asset in the Estimating Department. Consistently, he is kind and caring to all employees, every day- all day. His words and actions prove that he values his coworkers. Regardless of who needs assistance or what the task is, he will be the first to offer a helping hand. His positive attitude has turned many employees’ days brighter.

Sales Associate of the 4th Quarter: Dana Dockery, North Atlanta

Dana is consistently among the top-performing agents in our AEC South Region. She always keeps a positive outlook and attitude regardless of market conditions and finds ways to persevere when presented with challenges. Dana has used her experience and drive to consistently get difficult inventory sold in two recent in to recently closed communities, while also getting 8 homes sold in another community before being on-site while the model home is still being constructed. "Dana regularly brings great ideas to deal with the challenges we are facing in the current challenging market and this has been helpful for our entire sales team and to me as the Sales Manager." Dana is an invaluable asset to Adams Homes and I highly recommend her to receive Sales Associate of the Quarter!

Superintendent of the 4th Quarter: Caren Henderson, Memphis

Caren is an exceptional superintendent in our office. She expects high-quality work to be completed on time and manages a tight schedule, all without relying on any tools. Additionally, subcontractors enjoy working with her. Her first house was completed in less than 90 days, and she now strives to be the first superintendent to complete a home in under 70 days. Caren's commitment and dedication to her job make her a fantastic representative of Adams Homes.

Sales Manager of the 4th Quarter: Tammi Rief, Spring Hill

Tammi has been with Adams Homes for over 20 years, and during that time, she's proven time and time again that she's a top-producing sales manager. Her team consistently achieves its sales goals, and that's a testament to her leadership and guidance. Tammi's dedication to selling our homes is evident in every aspect of her work. "She's always looking for ways to improve and grow, and she encourages her team to do the same. Her passion for selling our homes is contagious, and it's one of the many reasons why her team consistently performs at such a high level.”

Production Manager of the 4th Quarter: Scott Harris, Jacksonville

Scott Harris has been a valuable member of the Jacksonville team for the past 18 years. His unwavering dedication to Adams Homes is hard not to notice. Scott handles the stress and everyday hustle the Production Manager position requires with ease. He is accountable and holds the trades and supers to the same standard. Scott genuinely cares for his team and works diligently with each superintendent to maximize their potential. He is well respected in our industry and always carries himself professionally. His vast experience and easygoing nature make him easy to communicate and work with. "Scott will run his own division for Adams Homes one day… I have no doubt," says his manager!

Division Admin Team Member of the 4th Quarter: Blanche Shoneck, Melbourne

Blanche has been an integral part of the Melbourne office for over four years, demonstrating leadership skills from day one. Initially, she served as the closing coordinator, and quickly improved the efficiency of daily operations for that position. Her performance was highly praised by our closing attorney, lenders, and customers.

Two years ago, our permitting department faced significant issues, and Blanche stepped up to the challenge by taking on the permitting coordinator position. With her leadership and dedication, she reorganized the department, and it has been running smoothly ever since. Blanche's work ethic is outstanding, and she is always willing to do whatever it takes to make our office successful. She arrives at least an hour before the office opens and stays late when needed. Her contributions to the team are immeasurable, and she is a true leader in the office. Melbourne's success can be attributed in part to Blanche's team attitude and daily contributions to the office. '"She is a vital part of our team, and we are grateful to have her as part of our team."

Corporate Admin Team Member of the 3rd Quarter: Karen Jones, HQ

Karen has been a loyal team member with Adams Homes since 2015. Her department depends greatly on her consistently significant contribution to the team. Other departments and managers rely on her help with irregular tasks/projects. She has a high standard of work ethic – she’s responsible and honest. Karen is committed to the Company; she does the right thing, she never misses work, and she won’t say “no,” if someone asks for her assistance. Karen is eager to help new and current employees within or outside of her department. In all she does, she doesn’t do it for the recognition, but she deserves the recognition of being inducted into the Founders’ Club.
