Adams Homes Announces 3rd and 4th Quarter Founders Club winners for 2020

Each quarter, we recognize our outstanding team members for their dedication to our mission and values. Nominations for the Founders Club recognize individuals team members’ passion for customer service and quality. Although we have already celebrated these great winners, we are proud to announce the following!

Sales Associate of the Third Quarter: Mary Dobsch, Memphis

With just over eight years working with Adams Homes, Mary has earned the reputation of reliable, loyal, knowledgeable, and hard-working. From her wonderful attitude and work ethic to the accuracy of her contracts, the Memphis team has nothing but great things to say about Mary.

“Mary was able to overcome the peak times of Covid,” said Lesly Melton, Sales Manager in our Memphis division, “by wearing PPE, offering alternatives to customers including FaceTime appointments, and sending videos to market her community.”

These tasks, like any other thrown her way, are always done with a smile and a great attitude. All of her fantastic qualities are an inspiration to the rest of the Sales team in our North Mississippi area.

Sales Associate of the Fourth Quarter: Karen Urso, Spring Hill

Recently eclipsing four years with Adams Homes, Karen is known by her teammates and customers alike as a hardworking and self-disciplined Sales Associate. She always strives for perfection and doing what is best for her clients and the company.

Spring Hill Sales Manager Tammi Rief says “Karen always goes the extra mile without a doubt.”

Whether it’s creating great homebuyer experiences, marketing her community, or simply having a positive attitude, evidence of “going the extra mile” is easy to find.

Further, Karen was selected as the Overall Founders Club Sales Associate Winner for 2020! She and her husband Lenny joined the rest of the winners for a weekend trip to New Orleans to celebrate in June.

We appreciate Karen’s dedication to serving homebuyers and striving for excellence among our team!

Superintendent of the Third Quarter: Chris Smith, Pensacola

Chris joined the Adams team just over two and a half years ago and has quickly made a name for himself with his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Chris is always on top of his jobs and striving to become better as a Superintendent. Not just one to focus on his own workload, he is always willing to help other team members with their jobs. All this while keeping his jobs on schedule and maintaining the highest quality.

James Ray, Production Manager in Pensacola, says “there are very few people that possess the attitude and drive that Chris demonstrates.”

Superintendent of the Fourth Quarter: Randy Miller, Baldwin

Randy Miller has been nominated for the Founders Club three times since its inception and has now won the Quarterly award twice (previously in the fourth quarter of 2019). As a veteran Superintendent, Randy has spent the last 14 years working towards the success of Adams Homes in the Baldwin County/Mobile division.

Hunter Bell, Production Manager in the Baldwin Division, says “Randy has outstanding communication skills and always maintains excellent relationships with vendors, inspectors, and coworkers.”

Randy not only boasts great build times but has also closed the most houses in the Baldwin division for the second year in a row. Each of his homes is sure to provide the wow factor, no matter how heavy his workload gets.

In addition to winning the Fourth Quarter of 2020, Randy Miller was also chosen as the Overall Superintendent of the Year! Although he was unable to join in on the celebratory trip, we appreciate him being a dependable and positive member of the Baldwin team!

Sales Manager of the Third Quarter: Kristi Williams, Fort Myers

Spending the last 7 years with Adams Homes as a Sales Manager, Kristi has proven her dedication to the team and her customers. This dedication is demonstrated by the low turnover in our Fort Myers Sales Team as she is constantly coaching and encouraging. Not afraid of hard work and long hours, Kristi focuses on making sure each contract is accurate and complete before submission.

With approximately 115 homes sold in the third quarter of 2020, the team attributes much of the success to her leadership in Sales. Further, Adams Homes Reviews routinely highlight her team’s abilities and dedication to customer satisfaction.

We at Adams Homes appreciate all Kristi does for the Fort Myers team, customers, and the company alike!

Sales Manager of the Fourth Quarter: Steve Pawlik, North Atlanta

Steve joined Adams Homes as a Sales Manager in one of our newest divisions, North Atlanta. On the team in this role for five years, Steve helped the team surpass 200 sales last year. Further, he was number one in the company for sales in the month of December 2020.

Craig Nolen, General Manager of North Atlanta, said “Steve’s knowledge and experience in the Atlanta market have allowed him to hire highly experienced Sales Associates that continually do a great job!”

Not just one to focus on the sale itself, Steve also does a great job of working with team members through the pipeline from closing coordinators to approved lenders. This maintains a low number of fall-offs and higher customer satisfaction.

Production Manager of the Third Quarter: Robert Blanton, Spring Hill

Spending the past 7 years with Adams Homes, Robert is currently managing the production of the largest and busiest office in the company. While this is not an easy task, much of Robert’s success can be accredited to his ability to recruit, train, and retain top-performing Superintendents and vendors.

“All aspects of production are handled the way our company structure intends it to run,” said John Roberts, General Manager in our Spring Hill division, “allowing me to focus on keeping gas (lots) in our tank.”

When evaluated on traits including attitude, passion, culture, and leadership, Robert received high marks indicative of the bar that he sets for his team. Further, his efforts are validated by the quality of the homes built and the home buyer ratings and reviews received.

Production Manager of the Fourth Quarter: James Ray, Pensacola

Approaching his 6th year with Adams Homes, James has earned a reputation among the Pensacola team for his business acumen and dedication to excellence. Each day, James has goals in mind for improving production, costs, and trade/vendor relationships, and he works tirelessly to achieve these goals.

Ronnie Rainwater, General Manager of Pensacola, says “James is highly motivated and strives every day to help propel the Pensacola office to become more efficient and cost-conscious.”

As a member of the Pensacola team, James works to ensure those around him are also successful by keeping a close eye on permitting, closings, and warranty. No matter the house in question, James is always on top of it and has an answer to the status of any given task.

Division Team Member of the Third Quarter: Louis Werman III, Spring Hill

Quickly approaching six years with Adams Homes, Louis has done an excellent job with our Spring Hill division team. From communications to the accuracy of work, there’s not much Louis isn’t lauded for.

Robert Blanton, Spring Hill Production Manager, says “Louis is a very dedicated team member and the quality of his work is top-notch!”

Further, the team has complimented his great attitude and constant drive to improve systems to increase efficiency in purchasing lots. Covering the largest scattered lot area of any Lot Acquisition Assistant in the company, Louis has done a great job working towards the shared success of the Spring Hill team and Adams Homes.

Division Team Member of the Fourth Quarter: Darlene Cruthirds, Mississippi Gulf Coast

This isn’t Darlene’s first nomination to the Founders Club; she also was a winner in the third quarter of 2018!  That’s no surprise to the Mississippi Gulf Coast team, however, as she has been with Adams Homes for over 18 years!

With all this experience, Darlene is a strong team member and is always a help to others. She possesses a great attitude and a strong work ethic. Darlene is a constant resource for both our Sales team and outside sales agents, as she schedules all walk-throughs, closings, and works well with buyers, attorneys, closers, and lenders.

“Darlene takes a lot of pride in her work and always aims to remain ahead.” Says April White, Sales Manager in MSGC. “She has expanded her job and continues to grow with us!”

The MSGC strongly believes she is deserving of the recognition, and we couldn’t agree more! That is why in addition to winning the Fourth Quarter, Darlene Cruthirds has also been chosen as the Overall Division Team Member for 2020! She and her husband Tony joined the other winners to celebrate in New Orleans in June.

Corporate Admin Team Member of the Fourth Quarter: Charlotte Owens

Charlotte has been with Adams Homes for just under two years, but in this time has earned a reputation for being a leader. She has the knowledge and skills required to lead a team of educated, ambitious, skilled, and fun team members.

Her supervisor says “Charlotte leads her team with wisdom, guidance, and a great sense of humor.”

These great traits keep her team’s morale and work ethic at a high level. She keeps the team on track and does her best to keep things running smoothly.

To recognize her great leadership within Adams Homes, Charlotte was also chosen as the Admin Team Member of the Year! She and her Fiancé Charles joined the rest of the winners in the Big Easy this June to celebrate their hard work. We appreciate all that Charlotte does for the Adams team!

These individuals are welcomed by Bryan Adams, President, to the Founders Club. This was established by Bryan to honor those operating with values shared by Wayne Adams, the Founder of Adams Homes. Each of our quarterly winners is also eligible for the yearly Founders Club award in their respective category, and the honors and accolades that accompany the title.
