Where can I view your homes?
There are a few different ways you can familiarize yourselves with our currently available homes.
- The easiest way, whether you want to build or buy and guarantees the most up-to-date information is to schedule an appointment to see one of our agents to see everything a specific area has to offer.
- You can either go to the community page and locate the agent’s number (Locations–Click on your state–Click on your area–Click on the preferred community–Scroll down and the number should be in the Information Box)
- Or you can fill out our Contact Us form (located in the top right corner of the website under Contact Us) and the appropriate agent will reach out to you.
- If you’re looking for a move-in-ready home in a particular community of ours, you can go into the specific community page on our website and then click the Express Move-In Homes button to look at current move-in-ready homes. (Locations–Click on your state–Click on your area-Click on the preferred community–Scroll down and click on Express Move-In Homes)
- If you want to build your home, and are interested in looking at floorplans before scheduling an appointment to view the community, you can find a list of our available floorplans for each community on their respective community pages. What are the prices of your homes?
Unfortunately, this one can be a little tricky to answer at times. Home costs are going to rise and fall with the market and if you’re building vs buying, and even the location you’re building in. For example, if you’re building a home with us, our pricing is going to already include what many other builders consider upgrades at no additional cost to you. Depending on the community and location, other select upgrades may be available that will allow you to make decisions of your own and customize your home however you’d like it. Keep in mind though, with any additional choice you make the price of your overall home is subject to change. With us, you get to choose what goes into your home, including choices for upgraded items throughout. With each choice you make the price of your overall home is subject to change. But, at Adams Homes, we do our best to give everyone a close rough estimate to what costs you can expect. There’s a couple of different ways you can view the rough estimate pricing.
- The easiest way, whether you want to build or buy and guarantees the most up-to-date pricing information is to schedule an appointment to speak with our agents.
- Go to the webpage for the location you’re looking at purchasing in (Locations–Click on your state–Click on your area) and in bright red coloring, there should be a starting from price next to the community name. This price is just to give you an idea of where the pricing may be at, though it is subject to be lower or higher from that number at any given time.
How long will it take to build my home?
Typically, your home will take around 5-7 months to be built. Very rarely though we may come across obstacles that may extend this timeline. For instance:
- Permitting from the county. It’s no secret that the government runs on its own time, depending on if everything is running smoothly within local government, your home build could be delayed.
- Mother Nature can sometimes interfere with our building time as well. Most of the areas we build are prone to severe storms and at times… hurricanes. Even if an area isn’t directly affected, a major storm could bring damages to any of our suppliers, which could delay overall production.
How do I start the process?
This is the easy part! There are numerous ways to jump-start your process.
- Go to our website and click on the Contact Us form at the top right of the page and fill it out to have the appropriate agent contact you.
- Find the phone number for the specific community you’re interested in and give them a call (Locations–Click on your state–Click on your area–Click on the preferred community–Scroll down and the number should be in the Information Box)
- Or, if you’re driving by one of our communities, drop by the model and speak to an agent! Though we really recommend scheduling an appointment by either of the first two methods, that way our agents can make sure you receive their undivided attention. But, if you’re feeling a little spontaneous, we accept walk-in appointments as well.
What if my credit isn’t where it needs to be, but I want to purchase a home
Knowing your credit score and working diligently to raise a damaged score is going to be your strongest course of action to get approved for a loan. We do not own our own mortgage or title company so we have little control on if one of our buyers gets approved for a loan or not. Due to that, we recommend talking to one of our many preferred lenders to see where you stand with your credit score and loan approval rating. Then, you can formulate a plan with the best fitting lender to get your finances strong enough to purchase a home of your own. Here’s how you can get a list of preferred lenders in your area.
- Contact one of our agents in your area! Our agents are there to be an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable tool for you to use, so use them! (Locations–Click on your state–Click on your area–Click on the preferred community–Scroll down and the number should be in the Information Box)
- Let us contact you! By accurately filling out our Contact Us form on our website (located in the top right corner of the website under Contact Us), you’re ensuring that the right representative will contact you and be able to answer any questions you may have.
